Google and BearingPoint are working together to make enterprise search easier. Interesting in the context of what we discussed about the different layers of capabilities and linkages across layers.

Comments:
I came across this article about the Google desktop. I was shocked to read that when someone does a search across the network the documents that are returned from the search are actually stored, for up to a month, on Google's servers. I can't imagine why any admin would allow Google desktop on user's desktops.

raises issues of privacy as well..
